Summer Term 2020
Home Learning
Dear Reception and Year 1,
I hope you are all well and have been enjoying the sunshine in your gardens. I’ve really missed seeing your smiling faces each morning and hope we can all be at school together very soon. I have put some things for you to do in your J2E folders on Hwb which I think you will enjoy. I will put new things for you to do in your folder every Monday. If you can, take some pictures of what you are doing and share them on Hwb for me. If you have anything you want to tell me, you can put it on Hwb too. I can’t wait to see what you do. Instructions for your mummy and daddy on how to access the shared folders in Hwb and how to upload your work pictures can be found in the 'Home Learning' section of this website.
Keep smiling and having fun.
See you soon.
Mrs Gaisford 😊

We have had a really busy term. We took part in 'Multicultural Week' and 'Cwricwlwm Cymreig week' and also raised money for the NSPCC and Comic Relief. We enjoyed performing in our school Eisteddfod and dressed up to celebrate 'World Book Day'. As part of our topic work we found out about superheroes and designed costumes for our own superhero, learnt about healthy eating, created animations on HWB, listened to music from Superman and created our own dance to this, created comic strips and found out about real life superheroes like Louis Braille. We finished our topic by creating four new superheroes to defeat Dr Evilblood and his special robots. We also held our own 'Superhero Day' with everyone dressing up and enjoying 'superhero smoothies' and 'super healthy fruit snacks'.
Take a look at the photographs below to see what we did this term and watch our St David's Day performance too.
