Mrs Caroline Neuddeg (Governor) talked to the children about her childhood memories and experiences from the 1960s.
In Art, we explored the work of Peter Thorpe and created amazing space pictures using pastels and poster paint.
We also studied the work of Pop Arts Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.

Spring Term 2019
Earth, Wind and Fire - Natural Disasters
This project has a geography focus and teaches children about the causes and impact of natural disasters. We will be learning about Volcanoes, Earthquakes, Tsunamis and Hurricanes.
First week back, Year 3 enjoyed an interesting lesson on Internet safety from PC Nick.
WATCH OUT!!!!! Volcanoes are erupting in Llanfair Primary

Year 3/4 We need your help?:
A strong hurricane has devastated an island and left the water supplies contaminated with sand. The people have to find a way to filter the water quickly. What methods could they use? What materials would be easily available to them?
Year 3/4 took on the challenge and here we are putting our ideas to the test....
Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Llantwit Major Library. We wrote Haiku poems on Wales or Rugby, made paper bangers and completed a Library quiz. Many thanks to all the Staff.
