Independent learning enquiry journals

We are delighted to share that Llanfair School has been recognised for excellent practice by the Central South Consortium. As a result, we have been invited to share our approach with other schools across the region.

The recognition focuses on our innovative use of Independent Enquiry Journals in Years 4–6, which empower pupils to lead their own learning, ask deep questions, and develop key skills in curiosity, reflection, and critical thinking.

We are extremely proud of this aspect of our curriculum and are grateful that the hard work of our pupils and staff has been acknowledged in this way.
