Football League Kicks Off with Wins for Llanfair

The football league has begun and Llanfair are off to a fantastic winning start! Both our Year 5 and Year 6 teams faced St David’s Church in Wales Primary School and came away with impressive victories.

• Year 5: Llanfair 9 – 5 St David’s

• Year 6: Llanfair 8 – 5 St David’s

This is an excellent start to the season, especially as the teams have not yet had any training sessions. What stood out most was the way our pupils conducted themselves, showing outstanding teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship throughout both matches.

We are very proud of all the players and look forward to our next fixture against Llangan Primary School at home on 30th September.
